Hozy Dark
Fantasy · Adventure · TTRPG session log
The Beginning of the Campaign The campaign began with a group of unlikely adventurers brought together by the promise of danger, treasure, and whatever secrets lay buried beneath the old ruins. What started as a straightforward dungeon expedition quickly turned into something far more sinister, as the party encountered strange traps, ancient treasures, dangerous creatures, and hints that the dungeon held secrets far beyond simple gold. The group soon learned that survival underground would require more than brute force. They had to rely on each other’s strange talents, deal with deadly traps and monsters, and occasionally survive some spectacularly bad—and spectacularly good—dice rolls. The Party Doc — A halfling priest and jeweller by trade. Doc is recognisable by his distinctive hat decorated with glowing blue-green gems. Small but resourceful, he brings healing, divine magic, and an eye for valuable stones and treasure. Kritkrit — A kobold wizard who is considerably more dangerous than his size suggests. He carries an absurdly oversized greatsword on his back and has a particular enthusiasm for setting things on fire. His fiery spells have already made him one of the party's most destructive members. Donk — A half-orc fighter who approaches problems with the subtlety one would expect from a half-orc carrying weapons. Fearless and dependable in a fight, Donk is usually happy to put himself between the party and whatever horrible thing is trying to kill them. Gorm — A dwarf fighter and the party's other stalwart frontline warrior. Solid, dependable, and willing to stand his ground when things go wrong, Gorm provides some much-needed dwarven toughness to the group. Hesrel — A human wizard who joined the expedition alongside the others. His time with the party was tragically short, ending during the early dungeon exploration when a deadly fire trap claimed his life. His death quickly established one of the campaign's most important lessons: the dungeon is not messing around. And so the party's adventure began: four unlikely survivors, one fallen companion, and a dungeon full of things that really should have stayed buried.
