The Sleepy Bee and the Blue Pebble

Chloe has long pink hair and freckles and wears a bright star daisy crown. She kneels by the moss clump in the grassy meadow. Next to her, Blossom waves a thin green wand. Pip wears his green shirt and tiny fairy shoes. He looks down near the green moss clump in the damp grass.

Pip sees a tiny blue shine. It looks just like his lost pebble. Pip smiles big. He crawls on his hands and knees through the damp grass to reach it. He wants to hold his special shiny blue pebble again very badly.

Pip bends down low in the damp green grass. His fingers reach deep beneath a wide clover leaf. He feels a soft, furry buzzing sensation against his fingertips. Instead of hard stone, he touches a sleepy round bumblebee wrapped up in the petals.

The fuzzy bee gives a gentle, sleepy buzz and rolls over. Pip pulls his hand back fast with a little gasp, and Chloe giggles softly as the round yellow-and-black bug goes back to sleep under the green leaf, leaving the blue pebble still waiting to be found somewhere nearby.
