Chapter 26
The Sweet Pink Berry and the Golden Butterfly
Year 1 of the Rainbow Era, Spring Late Afternoon
Chloe and her fairy friends held hands and danced in a circle around the green grass to celebrate Pip finding his shiny blue pebble.
The rain stops. The bright sun comes back out to warm the green grass. Chloe, Blossom, and Pip sit down together in the soft meadow.
Chloe has a small empty berry basket. She opens it up. Inside are sweet pink sugar berries.
Chloe shares the pink berries with Blossom and Pip. The berries taste sweet and yummy like honey. Everyone is very happy and full of joy.
A little yellow butterfly flutters down from the sky. It has shiny wings that sparkle like gold.
The butterfly lands right on top of Chloe's long pink hair. Blossom and Pip laugh out loud.
The butterfly tickles Chloe. She giggles with joy. The little yellow butterfly stays on her hair to see what happens next.
