Citadel

A formidable, gothic castle constructed of dark, heavy stone is built directly into a sheer, rocky mountainside at a high altitude. It features extensive defensive works, including multiple towered gatehouses, fortified bridge-ramps spanning ravines, high curtain walls with battlements, and a complex of inner spires, all illuminated by numerous glowing torches and internal lights. The surrounding landscape is dramatic and severe, characterized by snow-patched crags, deep chasms, a distant river valley, and high, snow-capped peaks under a heavily clouded, stormy sky with moonlight breaking through.
