The Happy Song and the Green Grass Chirp
Year 1 of the Rainbow Era, Spring Late Afternoon
Chloe, Blossom, and Pip shared a sweet pink sugar berry under the big fern leaf while a tiny golden beetle left a glowing pollen speck on their basket.
Chloe, Blossom, and Pip sit together on the green moss. The warm late afternoon sun shines down on them. Chloe sings a happy song with a soft voice. Blossom hums right along with her. Blossom makes her sparkly green shoes tap in time to the music. Pip claps his small hands with pure joy. A tiny golden beetle wiggles its shiny feelers. The little bug moves in a neat little circle on a green blade of grass. Everyone feels so happy and warm.
Suddenly, Pip hears a tiny rustle in the grass near the fern leaf. He tilts his head and listens close. A small chirp comes out of the green leaves. Chloe and Blossom look right over with big bright eyes. They wonder who is hiding in the tall grass.
