The Little Grey Cloud and the Lost Blue Pebble

The afternoon air in the magical land had been so warm and filled with laughter just moments before, but the golden glow of the day suddenly shifts. A soft grey cloud drifts across the sky and covers the warm sun, casting a gentle shadow over the meadow. The bright rainbow light on Chloe's star daisy crown goes dim, losing its sparkling shine. Pip stops singing his happy little tune and looks up at the sky with a sad, puzzled face because the cozy warmth is gone.

As the little friends wonder what has happened, a tiny cool rain drop falls from the grey cloud right onto Chloe's long pink hair. She blinks in surprise as the cool drop tickles her forehead, making her freckled nose crinkle. The playful mood of the afternoon turns into a quiet, chilly stillness as the little cloud lingers overhead.

The surprises of the afternoon continue when Pip looks down at his tiny hands and opens them. His round, shiny blue pebble—his absolute favorite treasure in the whole magic land—rolls right out of his fingers and falls down, down, down into the thick green grass.

Pip looks all around the tall blades of grass with big, sad eyes, letting out a soft sigh. Chloe and Blossom immediately bend down close to help him look for it in the green shade, parting the soft blades with their fingers to search every inch of the damp ground. Even though the little grey cloud is still hiding the sun, the three friends stay close together, determined to find the lost blue pebble and bring the sparkle back to their day.
